Bill and I were early to a temple session last week and we picked up the scriptures to peruse as we waited.  I’ve read the Book of Mormon so many times that I tend to skim and miss a lot these days.

So I decided to read the introduction, something I’ve never done and in the first paragraph are these words:   “The Book of Mormon is a volume . . . . and contains, as does the Bible, the fulness of the everlasting gospel.

Have those words always been in the introduction?  They seem to contradict “as far as it is translated correctly” in my mind.

I have bought a new set of scriptures that aren’t as hefty as the ones Bill bought me years ago.  So I’ll be reading fresh without my writings (sometimes they say “this is crap!”) and my underlinings.  Maybe I’ll discover similar nuggets.
