I have enjoyed reading some of the posts associated with the recent five year anniversary of Nine Moons and was surprised with the controversy surrounding the recent Niblets voting. Whenever some phenomenon experiences explosive growth and change, there is bound to be old timer vs new timer fighting for turf (at least that is my interpretation).

Over the last couple of years, there have been various discussions about the future of the Bloggernacle – here, here, and here for example. As a relative new comer (started lurking in 2005 and blogging in 2006), I was pondering the future of the Bloggernacle. Where does it go from here? Has everything been said that needed to be said or discussed? Do we really need hundreds of unique blogs? Are the mommy blogs here to stay? Will the non-traditional blogs ever be accepted? How will posts continue to evolve? What do you think?
