|Signs of the Times: Church Plans Approved for Non-Cookie Cutter Temple|

The end of days is upon us. First, the Utes go the Pac-1?. Now, the Church breaks with their current temple mold. Behold:
At approximately 9,000 square feet, it looks to be one the smallest in the Church. The landscaping will reportedly include fruit trees. [Edit: A correction has been added to the original Standard Examiner article — that’s 9,000 square feet each level, making for a much larger structure than we initially thought.]
The rumblings I was hearing alleged that Brigham City favorite son Boyd K. Packer was taking a special, personal interest in the temple — which can only be true if a city twenty miles from two other temples is going to get one with its very own design.
What’s next, a chapel with natural light? My worldview is seriously shaken…
