Go to church more often. Make the world a little more interesting for my ward one day a week. |
To let my voice be heard by those who are deaf. Cause the world has so much more to offer, -Sass teenfitnessblog.blogspot.com |
Wow! My single goal is be on time to church, now that it’s at 1 p.m. If I have to downsize my goal in order to succeed–a very real possibility–I think I’ll downsize to “be on time more often than I’m late.” |
ZD Eve, I totally sympathyze. My ward has priesthood first and we have opening exercises that last about 10 minutes and are totally worthless, By the time we get into our room and get the lesson started it’s at least a quarter after. I haven’t been to opening exercises in years. My goal this year is to get there for opening exercises at least half the time. |
I also resolved not to take my cell phone to church anymore. I got my son-in-law to commit with me. (I realized how bad it looked watching him appear rude and disinterested) The sad part of that is one of the ladies I visit teach enjoyed critiquing the meeting and she will miss it. But we’re bad for each other that way. Sass, that is so Stepford. No offense. |
ESO – wow you are ambitious. I would be happy to pay more attention to Sacrament Meeting and try to listen as opposed to critique. Beyond that, I would love to stay in the Nursery and avoid attending GD or HPG all year long! |

1) Keep trying |
Hey! You are learning sign language? How did that become a part of your life? I am new to your blog, so sorry if it is more obvious than what I have caught so far. I am Deaf, just got cochlear implants last year, and excited for blogger friends who know ASL! Too cool! |
My ward includes the local Deaf group so knowing ASL is helpful. |
According to wiktionary.com Tour (plural tours): Hopefully this helps. I’m glad to be of use. |
