|Somebody do the math|
Apr. 14th, 2013 at 11:13 am
Watching Meet The Press. If they cut social security and Medicare from us “affluent” seniors and more of the younger generation are on welfare than working (not referring to my hard -working young friends) there will not be enough taxes to support a nation of mooches.
Bill and I will survive. I believe in giving back and helping the less fortunate, but it sure looks like nobody’s done the math here. The young workers contributing to the tax base will be so few in number that we will not be able to sustain ourselves as a nation. But I’ll be back in diapers when that happens, and happily senile. Along with the rest of us millions of baby boomers.
I would be delighted if somebody could prove me wrong in my foreboding dire prediction of the future.
